At the Weinstein Firm, we work everyday with people who have been injured in car accidents, and we know that the more efficient and convenient regional transportation systems are, the more they will be used, and the roads will be safer as a result. We are so pleased to learn that Governor Nathan Deal will be providing millions of dollars in grant money for the region's transportation systems to grow and improve.

Since Georgia is one of the few states that doesn’t provide regular funding for transit operations, this new grant package is a much-needed boost for the region.

Proposals for the grant money have been received from transit systems in Albany, Athens, Columbus and Savannah, and from MARTA and suburban bus networks across the metropolitan Atlanta region.

Learn more here about the specifics of this new grant money and the potential recipients.

The Weinstein attorneys believe that our region's transportation systems need to be fully funded and supported, because their expansion and usage have a direct relation to the safety of the region's crowded roadways.
